Brilliance can come from the most unexpected places. One of my favorite movies is Nacho Libre starring Jack Black. In the movie, Nacho has big dreams and he pursues them relentlessly despite numerous setbacks and failures. He never loses sight of his dream and in the midst of one of his humiliating defeats, he declares, "I want to be a good fighter!" He doesn't aspire to be a winner, a hero, or a superstar. Instead, he focuses on becoming a better fighter.
What I've learned is that those who have big dreams are bound to encounter struggles along the way. Unfortunately, many people give up on their dreams when they experience adversity. However, those who persist and endure through real struggle are the ones who eventually win.
The path to victory is simple: Dream, Struggle, Win. But it's important to note that the bigger the dream, the greater the struggle. It's not enough to simply wish for success. You must be willing to fight for it.
So, don't just dream of being a great winner or a great dreamer. Instead, aim to be a great fighter. Embrace the struggle, stay focused on your goals, and never give up. With hard work and perseverance, you can achieve anything you set your mind to.
